Lagos-Ibadan Railway Project

The Lagos-Ibadan railway project stands as a testament to Nigeria's commitment to modernize its transportation infrastructure. As an advisor to the Federal Government of Nigeria, I had the privilege of overseeing the design, material specification, and construction supervision of this monumental undertaking. Spanning a length of several kilometers, this project encompassed the construction of 165 facility buildings and 10 state-of-the-art railway stations. With a budget of USD 300 million, our team meticulously ensured that the structures adhered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and functionality. I had the privilege of working closely with the Chinese contractor, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), on the prestigious Lagos-Ibadan railway project. In addition to providing guidance on design and material specifications, I diligently supervised a team of 5 to 15 multi-disciplinary staff members. With their expertise and my oversight, we ensured that the construction of 165 facility buildings and 10 railway stations, amounting to a total investment of USD 300 million, met the highest standards of quality and functionality. This collaborative effort between the Nigerian government, CCECC, and my team promises to revolutionize transportation infrastructure in the country.
